2019 Ram 2500

The 2019 Ram 2500 is available in six trim levels, each with distinctive features. With an available chrome appearance package, the 2500 Tradesman is equipped with impressive 18-inch chrome-clad wheels, chrome bumpers, and a stunning chrome grille badge. Chrome accents are standard on the stylish Lone Star. On the Laramie, you'll notice the distinctive LED lighting and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The Power Wagon stands out thanks to powder-coated bumpers, a menacing grille, and bold graphics. The Laramie Longhorn is equipped with an exclusive chrome billet grille, two-tone paint options, polished wheels with painted pockets, and a narrow-profile wheel-to-wheel sidestep. 20-inch aluminum painted wheels, an exclusive grille design, and a power side step are just some of the Limited's exterior highlights.

The 2500 delivers a ride that's powerful enough to tackle any task. The legendary 6.4-Liter HEMI® V-8 engine comes standard on all trim levels. It's capable of putting out 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque while allowing the 2500 to tow up to 19,780 pounds. You can also opt for the innovative 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine. The diesel option produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. Diesel-equipped models can tow up to 21,560 pounds.

Whenever you take the wheel of the Ram 2500, you're guaranteed a smooth ride. The V-8 models come equipped with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. This dynamic transmission can optimize shift changes for peak efficiency, performance, and drivability. On the diesel models, you'll find a six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The 2500's cabin is protected from vibrations by frame-mounted dampers. The truck's aerodynamics are boosted by active grille shutters and a lower air dam.

The Ram 2500's interior is rugged enough for any adventure, yet comfortable and luxurious. The Tradesman features vinyl seating that's easy to clean. Cloth seating is also an option in the Tradesman and standard in the Lone Star. The Laramie has leather-trimmed seats with available suede inserts. Leather-trimmed seating is also available in the Power Wagon. The seating in the Laramie Longhorn and the Limited models is 100% leather. In the Longhorn, this luxury material is enhanced by alligator-embossed accents. Other interior highlights include genuine wood and aluminum accents.

With the Ram 2500, you don't have to sacrifice safety and security for sturdiness. Brake assist, traction control, and a total of six air bags are all standard safety features. In the event of an impending collision, you'll receive an alert from the forward-collision warning system. The system can also apply the brakes, if necessary. Even towing is safer in the 2500, thanks to a trailer brake control system and a monitor that keeps track of trailer tire pressure, plus an optional cargo camera.
