2020 Jeep Compass

The 2020 Jeep Compass has two configuration options with six trim levels each. The front-wheel-drive configuration comprises the Sport, Latitude, Sun & Wheel, Altitude, Limited, and High Altitude trim levels while the four-wheel-drive configuration includes the Sport, Latitude, Altitude, Trailhawk, Limited and High Altitude trim levels. The variety among the trim levels allows you to better customize the 2020 Compass to fit your driving needs and preferences. Standard exterior features found on most of the Compass trims levels include a black roof, automatic headlamps, fog and cornering lamps, headlamp off time delay, deep tint sunscreen glass, exterior power adjustable mirrors with heating element, and a rear window wiper and washer.

The 2020 Compass is equipped with two engines: a 2.4-liter MultiAir engine or a 2.4-liter Zero Evap MultiAir engine with engine start-stop. Most trim levels comes standard with the Zero Evap MultiAir engine, and all have the option. The front-wheel-drive configuration is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, a six-speed automatic transmission, or the AutoStick automatic transmission, which provides the driver with the option for clutch-free manual shifting. The four-wheel-drive configuration has either the six-speed manual transmission or the AutoStick automatic transmission.

The four-wheel drive on the 2020 Compass is the Selec-Terrain traction management system, which allows the driver to use up to five customizable settings: auto, snow, sport, sand or mud, and rock. The four-wheel-drive configuration uses AWD suspension, except for the Trailhawk trim. Instead, the Trailhawk comes with off-road suspension, which includes excellent handling and driving dynamics. Other off-road features of the Trailhawk include a 4.334 final drive ratio, two front red tow hooks, rear red tow hooks, and a fuel tank skid plate shield.

The roomy interior of the 2020 Compass makes for a comfortable drive where ever you travel. Convenient interior features on most Compass trim levels include three rear seat head restraints, a 60/40 folding rear seat, a front passenger fold forward seat, a driver height adjuster seat, a driver assist handle, push-button start, a rear cargo underfloor tray, sliding sun visors with illuminated mirrors, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Infotainment features in the Compass include a second-row remote USB port, steering-wheel mounted audio controls, a 7-inch or 8.4-inch touch-screen display, Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The 2020 Compass is further equipped with several standard safety features to help keep you and your passengers safe. These features include a center rear three-point seat belt, front height adjust shoulder belts, electronic roll mitigation, hill start assist, LATCH anchor system, panic alarm, rear backup camera, rain brake support, and a tire pressure monitoring display. Available features on some of the trim levels include the rear park-assist system, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, full speed forward collision warning with active braking, and blind-spot and cross-path detection.
