Finding a good burger is harder than you might think. So many places serve them, but so few actually make them good. Fire Rock Restaurant Fire Rock Restaurant has two locations, one in Las Vegas and another in Casper, proof that what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas. Fire Rock Restaurant is located on East Second Street in Casper and features 10 specialty burgers. more The Fire Rock burger is your classic ground beef topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and served on a challah bun. For more variety, you can kick up the flavor with the Wyoming Whiskey burger, a juicy patty served with applewood-smoked bacon, provolone, red onion, and a whiskey glaze. The Cowboy Up! Burger is another Fire Rock creation. This delicious burger is smothered in mushrooms, onions, a tri-tip braised peppercorn gravy, and bacon. For even more culinary delight, try this unique burger at Fire Rock Restaurant. The Jalapeno Smash burger is ground beef, smashed together with jalapeno and banana peppers then topped with cheddar cheese, onion strings, and a jalapeno ranch dressing. The cafe doesn't have a set menu of their concoctions, so a touch of creativity on your part and advice from the baristas will get you just what you've been craving. Metro Coffee Company Situated in a nearly 100-year-old building, Metro Coffee Company has a chic, modern industrial vibe that's apparent from the exterior and certainly once you walk through the door. Exposed brick, a piano that encourages people to tickle the ivory, plenty of seating, and high-speed WiFi provide a place where you can relax for hours on end. While the drip coffee and cappuccinos are amazing, don't miss out on the flavored lattes. With choices such as Mexican chocolate, raspberry truffle, caramel hazelnut, and mocha, you'll get a one-two punch of sweetness and caffeine that will take your day to the next level.
